I've read your slipstream tutorial excellent! Alas, I am stuck, confused, and in desperate need of help. I can't use the F6 method, since my laptop obviously hasn't got a floppy drive. I get the feeling this is not the same thing as disabling SATA support, as per the method recommended on this forum?
Since this would then be the obvious way to go for me, I have had enormous difficulty understanding where to find these drivers -- read all your replies to other 'posters' , but no joy for me Intel website just serve to confuse me. Or if this is not the right drivers, please provide me with a link to the actual page for SATA drivers for my laptop I have no idea on how to search the Intel website, or even if my drivers are there -- don't even know if I should download 32 bit or 64 bit drivers.
Apologies for the long post your help would be deeply appreciated, I think this is my last hope!!
